Team Building with a social purpose
One of the most powerful ingredients in any team building event is a shared sense of purpose. We believe that when that purpose is taken out into the real world, and used to support people in need, it’s a game-changer for everyone involved. And our clients agree, telling us they’d love to be part of something which benefits their community as well as their company.
So we’ve created Cook for Good, a suite of food-focused team events and experiences with a social mission, delivered in partnership with not-for-profit organisations all over the UK. At Cook for Good events, teams of all shapes and sizes come out of their comfort zones and into the kitchen, to cook a hearty meal for homeless and vulnerable people in our communities.
It’s a simple concept, brilliantly executed, combining the best of corporate team building with direct support for those who need it most.
What does Cook for Good deliver
Cook for Good is a real-life experience which will stay with your team long after the washing up is done. As you’d expect from a team building event, everyone who takes part will gain new insights into themselves and each other, and learn to collaborate more productively. But it’s the social impact of Cook for Good that takes it to another level.
Joining together to help some of the most vulnerable people in our society creates energy, empathy and social purpose. It transforms the way that teams and individuals think and act, inside and out of the workplace. And it turns a training budget into a force for good.
Internal working teams
Throw hierarchies out the window and free up your team members to better understand each other's work styles and personalities. Improve communication skills, build trusting relationships and unravel negative dynamics.
Cross Company teams
Bring together a team from your business, whether C Suite leaders, heads of department or mangers. Break down silos and focus on the common goal through high-level collaboration. An ideal plug-in to corporate management development programmes.
Peer to Peer Networking
A fresh approach to networking with your counterparts in other businesses - cook for and serve those in need, then discuss your industry best practice, knowledge and market insights over a shared meal.
Give cross-functional projects the best chance of success by pulling the team together into a well bonded functional working team with common goal, focus and feel-good factor.
